Richard wanted Susanne's ring to be made with ethical materials
Richard commissioned this stunning engagement ring for Susanne. He wanted to use ethical materials where possible and came into the Cambridge studio to pick this recycled 4.4mm (0.30ct) brilliant cut G/H Si diamond which has been set into a cross over four claw style setting. Richard wanted to have a theme of 3 running through the design which has shaped the way in which the setting detail spilts and twists around to hold the diamond. On each shoulder of the ring we have invisibly set a 1.5mm brilliant cut green tourmaline. We have made the ring in Fairtrade and Fairmined 18ct white gold and it measures approximately 3mm wide at the sides and back which has then been given a highly polished finish.
