Cabochon cut fairly traded Ruby in a 9ct white gold engagement ring
I designed this beautiful ring around the central stone which is an unusual cabochon cut ruby which is a fairly traded stone. The stone is around 4.66mm X 4.88mm and weighs around 0.77ct. I wanted to design a ring that was asymmetrical but could have either a straight wedding ring flush next to it or a fitted wave band. The 9ct white gold band flows around the all around set ruby and then curls around the 2mm HSi recycled diamond so that it sits flush into the white band. The ring has not been rhodium plated so that it gives a warm creamy colour which compliments the red in the ruby. The ring has a D shaped profile and has been finished to a high polish.
