Carrie's unique sapphire and alexandrite engagement ring
Alistair wanted to create a ring for Carrie as a surprise. He asked me to design this beautiful Sapphire and Alexandrite engagement ring. The central Sapphire is a princess cut stone that is 2.9mm in size and weighs 0.16cts. There is a gorgeous graining detail around the stone which gives it an antique feel. The alexandrites are both 2mm in size and they have been grain square set in the shoulders. The ring is made in 9ct white gold with a gently curved profile, it hasn't been rhodium plated so that the ring has a lovely warm creamy colour to it.
