Ailsa's sapphire and diamond platinum engagement ring
Ailsa and Mark came to our Hertfordshire studio to meet with their designer Rebecca. The ring has been crafted from Platinum and has a flat profile. The band is approximately 5mm wide at the front, tapering to 3mm at the back for comfort. The band deepens at the front to hold the 5x2.8mm 0.35ct emerald cut green sapphire and a pair of 4x2mm tapered baguette cut H Si1 diamonds totalling 0.18cts, which have been invisibly set for a pretty yet practical design. Ailsa is a vet so this was key to the design that it was flush and practical.
