Graham wanted an Art Deco inspired design for Emma

Graham came into our Hertfordshire studio to design this beautiful engagement ring as a surprise for Emma. The ring has been made from 18ct white gold which has not been rhodium plated so the gun-metal grey colour of the natural white gold can be seen. It is 3mm wide at the sides and back and tapers in sharply towards the central stone in an Art Deco style. The band has a flat profile to enhance the clean lines of the design. The focus of the ring is the Korloff cut (similar in shape to a scissor or emerald cut, but with more facets underneath like a radiant cut) E SI1 diamond held in a four claw setting with flat trapezium shaped claws. Channel set into the band are two 1.75mm brilliant cut diamonds which add a little extra sparkle while keeping in line with the simplicity and elegance of the design.
