Modern daisy cluster with marquise cut pale blue sapphires and recycled diamonds
This pretty white gold design was inspired by daisy flowers. Harriet has used 3 very pale blue Ceylon sapphires which have been marquise or navette cut and they total 0.60cts. The ring also contains 3 beautiful sparkly H SI round facetted diamonds which total 0.125 cts and which used to be in a bar brooch that Harriet bought from auction to recycle (we have a photo of it in case you are interested! It is rather wonderful to think of these diamonds swanning around a ball room years ago!). The 9ct white gold has been rhodium finished for a bright white shine which looks great and enhances the pale blue sapphires perfectly. The ring has also been designed such that the cluster is fairly low but still would sit above a plain and unshaped wedding band for a neat look. The band of the ring is fully rounded in profile and is about 2mm wide and the daisy flower is just under 15mm across. This ring is one of a series of 3 designed by Harriet and loosely inspired by Kate Middleton's choice to wear Diana's sapphire and diamond cluster - but this is a very different and modern approach to a cluster design.
