Sarah wanted to use her mother's diamonds in her engagement ring
Sarah wanted to use her mother's diamonds in this platinum and rose gold engagement ring. Sarah's ring holds a 5mm 0.55ct brilliant cut green tourmaline, her mother's 2mm brilliant cut diamonds and two 2mm brilliant cut blue sapphires. The sapphires mirror the colour of Sarah's eyes and of the sea as Sarah and Richard met through their shared passion of sailing and wanted to incorporate this somehow. Sapphires are also Sarah's birthstone. The ring has a traditional design with a contemporary twist due to the 9ct rose gold which flows in a line at the front of the platinum shank. The ring is finished to a high polish.
