White gold engagement ring with topaz
Gary and Nicky came in together to design this lovely engagement ring. They chose to create the ring using 9ct white gold without rhodium plating so the creamy warm white colour of natural 9ct white gold can be seen. The band is 2mm wide at the sides and back, and tapers in to 1.5mm towards the stone to keep the ring delicate and enhance the central stone. The 3.5mm brilliant cut sky blue topaz is the focal point of the ring, held in a four claw setting set on point. The beautiful colour of the topaz draws you in without becoming obtrusive. The D shaped profile of the band and the highly polished finish add a little extra shine to this beautifully simple design.
