Bespoke 18ct white gold trillion cut 0.44ct G SI diamond and tourmaline engagement ring
Miraz wanted to propose to Kate with an engagement ring that meant something to her and had a modern slant on a classic style. As Kate loves Green, Miraz chose 2mm brilliant cut tourmalines to have channel set into the shoulders of the gently curved 3mm wide natural 18ct white gold shank, to create a strip of colour which frames and accentuates the soft curve of the trillion cut diamond which the shank follows. The unrhodium plated white gold compliments the leaf green of the tourmalines, as well has help lift the diamond and enhance its sparkle. To create the modern twist to the design, Miraz loved the idea of incorporating a trillion cut for the central stone. The diamond is a beautiful 6mm G SI, which has been set in a smooth all around rub over setting to show off its shape to the full as well as giving it maximum protection and creating a smooth, sleek look.
