Delicate platinum and 0.46ct oval diamond engagement ring.
This simply lovely platinum engagement has a 5.5 x 4mm oval H SI diamond set horizotally in a beautifully delicate four claw setting with intricate pierced out side detail. The band measures approximately 2mm wide at the back and tapers to approximately 1mm at the shoulder to emphasise and draw attenion to the beautiful diamond. The depth measures approximately 1.5mm deep at the back and the sides increasing to 3.5mm towards the setting. The additional pierced out areas at the side of the band echo the design in the delicate setting and give you a great view of the side of the diamond too. This engagment ring is also a great ethical choice because the central diamond is actually recycled. We love the fact that we have found this fantastic diamond dealer who specialises in repolishing and grading diamonds from unwanted American dress jewellery - this one used to be a drop earring - and the fact that it is recycled means that the price is relatively low too. What glamorous recycling! A plain wedding band would sit perfectly with this engagement ring.
