White gold white and heat-treated blue diamond engagement ring.
This ring is a 9ct white gold ring with rhodium plating. The band measures approxmatly 11mm wide from the top tapering down to 3mm at the back.This striking ring although wide still has a light and delicate quality due to the fine wire work construction.The square settings hold two 2.5mm brilliant cut heat-treated blue diamonds in the outer settings and one 2.5mm H SI white diamond in the central setting weighing a total of 0.19ct.
The diamonds are treated by a special process using state-of-the-art technology to produce this beautiful and permanent colour change. The treatment means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) or cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stone must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work.
