Pair of platinum commissioned wedding bands

Syanthan's ring holds an unusual cut natural chocolate cognac diamond. It is set in an all around setting for a simple flush look. A heat-treated orange cognac 2mm diamond is grain set into a square to off set the design. Two engraved lines run around the band which is flat in profile and has a matt finish. The ladies ring is a delicate three stone flowing design with two princess cut sapphire. On the middle band diamonds are grain set for a delicate and feminine design. Heat treated orange-cognac diamonds like this get their beautiful colours when they are heated at very high temperatures and pressures to achieve this permanent colour change. Natural occurring diamonds of this colour are very rare and cost many thousands of pounds and so this treatment process brings these coloured diamonds within reach. This also means that the ring must not be heated up to very high temperatures (eg by a jeweller during resizing of the ring) so special care needs to be taken when resizing this ring in the future and the stone must be carefully removed and re-set during any future resizing work.
