Susan's Custom Cut Opal and Yellow Gold Engagement Ring

When Simon visited Coober Pedy in Australia 20 years ago he stumbled upon a stunning uncut opal, seeing its beauty Simon kept it safe knowing it would be perfect for a very special occasion. Using Fairtrade 9 carat yellow gold this engagement ring was designed especially for Susan. Simon's opal was cut and polished into a round cabochon shape and acts as the main attraction of the ring. The opal sits in an all around setting to ensure its security, while a polished finish helps to reflect the colours that run through the stone. The 2mm band has a satinised finish which contrasts and highlights the centre stone beautifully. This engagement ring is complete with a subtle under cut- allowing for Susan to wear a straight wedding band in the future.
