Designing engagement rings for the HKJewellery gardens

Written by Francesca Glos on 30 October 2015

Starting at HK Jewellery has been a whirlwind! So much to learn but all super exciting. One of our first tasks was to design and create a variety of ring drawings influenced by the flowers displayed along the garden entrance to our beautiful barn conversion. Taking inspiration from Fuchsias, Lavender and Rosemary the drawings needed to show clear evidence of how the flowers have influenced the designs. I want to share with you my lavender design which features three pear cut amethysts, symmetrically tied together with a ribbon influenced band. This design represents the flowering buds grown on lavender whilst the ribbon is what is typically used to tie bundles of lavender together.
