Francesca studied both Art & Design and Textiles for her A Levels and chose to enrol into an Art Foundation to help direct her on to a creative path. During this course she discovered an interest in designing and making jewellery. Continuing her development in this specialist field she completed a HND course in 3D Design, achieving a Distinction and an Award for Excellence.
She progressed to working as a design assistant for an award winning jewellery designer, learning the core procceses of jewellery design from start to finish.
Fine jewellery has always played a part in her life. Every year during her childhood her father would buy an item of jewellery from a village in Italy to add to her collection. It was then that her love for beautiful handmade jewellery and intricate designs began.
Francesca joined Harriet Kelsall Bespoke Jewellery, quickly becoming a specialist in wedding and eternity rings. She enjoys working closely with customers and translating their ideas into beautiful pieces of jewellery. Working in an environment where she can interact with the goldsmiths and watch a design progress from a sketch to a much loved piece of bespoke jewellery.
